Japan definitely still think of Christmass and other Christians things as foreign in-spite of how entrenched they are in Japan by now.
ReplyDeleteI read a whole article once on how Christianity status in Japan and South Korean are different. IN Japan it's still viewed as an inherently foreign thing, while South Korean has fully embraced Christianity as part of it's culture even though they are still a minority there.
The way Japan is, I think this will probably still be true even 300 years from now.
