I'd actually prefer if Intros were always just scenes from the show. I get annoyed waiting something I saw in the Intro to happen and i never does. Like misleading Comic Book covers.
I'm old enough that this doesn't feel Retro to me. I've never seen it, but it looks modern to me. I recognized the voice of Mireille from Noir, that Dub was fantastic, way better then the original Japanese voices.
